Rapper NAV teamed up with The Weeknd for his hot new track, “Some Way,” released Wednesday (Feb. 15) — and it has fans feeling some way for sure.
The Weeknd has been on Justin Bieber’s tongue a lot lately since he’s begun dating Bieber’s ex, Selena Gomez, and many believe some of the latest song’s lyrics are a clap-back at the popstar.
Bieber recently told TMZ, “Hell no I can’t listen to a Weeknd song. That s–t’s wack.” Then, on Sunday night (Feb. 12), the “Sorry” singer replied to a fan on Twitter with a video saying his “favorite song at the moment” is “Starboy” before he erupts into laughter.
Now, a few of the “Some Way” lines are being considered as The Weeknd firing back, seemingly referring to his new fling with Gomez. On the track The Weeknd sings, “I think your girl, think your girl fell in love with me/She say my f— and my tongue gave a remedy,” and then later, “I just took that chick, and I know you feeling some way/She just want a n—a like me, you feeling some way.”
NAV also chimes in with a rather suspicious line, “The brown boy and the Starboy on a track/Haters gonna say this s–t is wack.” Yet, the most aggressive (and graphic) line of the tune doesn’t have anything to do with Bieber: “I think the belts in the store look better on my waist/I think my nuts look better on her face.”
Whether intentionally aimed at Bieber or not, this feud isn’t likely to end any time soon.
