Coming off his first two phases of his “Gear Up” tour around the US, Crankdat has been garnering some major attention. The Ohio native gained some hometown love after his first festival performance at Ohio’s own #15Fest. Crank took over #15Fest, starting with an open meet and greet before his scheduled time slot on Friday, (which he crushed despite some minor technical difficulties). Crank even ended with a surprise b2b set with Party Thieves to close out the festival on Saturday.

Finishing out the remainder of the tours second phase, Crankdat announced the “Gear Up” tour will extend into a phase 2.5, in which Crank will make his way to Asia to perform in China, Vietnam, and Thailand. The six-date mini tour will make its climactic stop in Pattaya, Thailand for Warp Festival, Crankdat’s second ever festival performance.

After graduating from the renowned Iron Collective music school, Fish Scale and Phenatiks team up for their first 2018 release ‘That Bass.’ The song starts with crisp drum hits before mixing in chopped vocals, whirling synths, and dark bass tones, making for a club-ready bass house track. Utilizing a gritty sound throughout, Fish Scale and Phenatiks make their collaboration danceable and darkly brooding at the same time. After giving ‘That Bass’ a listen, it’s no surprise Fish Scale is earning praise from esteemed peers like Bijou while Phenatiks broke 100,000 streams in 2017. With ‘That Bass’ marking their start to the new year, the future looks bright for both of these emerging talents.
