Alxxa Shares Mesmerizing Break-Up Song, ‘Hung Up’

Published

on

Alxxa is a rising Los Angeles Pop act who is catching a huge wave right now, backed by her popular previous releases, “Nobody” and “Pistol”. Continuing to ride the wave, the songstress unveils another great track, titled, “Hung Up”.

“Hung Up” is a break-up tale fueled by love, life, and the ups and downs that organically come with any love story. The track exudes Alxxa’s signature bravado and fervor while remaining relatable and true to heart throughout.

Alxxa on “Hung Up”, she shares:

“Hung Up’ is a very special song for me. It was the first song I wrote when I moved to Los Angeles…alone, sitting at the piano, all in about an hour or so. It was a combination of shitty relationships, bad habits, nasty injuries, toxic work environments, poor self-image… You name it. Realizing I needed a change, I packed my things and drove across the country. The week long drive cleared my head and released a lot of the negative energy I had been harboring for a long time. This song describes the toxic cycle I was living in, at war with my surroundings and with myself.”

Alxxa is receiving a lot of support for many of music tastemakers for her unique sound. Checkout “Hung Up” below and stay tuned for more Alxxa news as it becomes available.

Lele Rose & The Thorns Share New Video, ”Running Away”

Published

Written by the beautiful and talented Lele Rose, at home on her piano and recorded with engineer Blaine Misner at Cue Studios Falls Church, VA next to her hometown of Arlington/Washington DC, the song is a metaphor about this current time in her life of being a young adult and a working musician making it in the industry. With everything going on in the world today from violent acts to natural disasters, the song enables the listener to escape through beautiful melodies, the grand piano, and the immersion of the electric guitar.

“Running Away” brings Rose’s songwriting to life through the true story of a piano girl finding her rock n roll band and hitting the road on tour. Instead of running away from herself and her dreams, she finds an escape through music to live out her dreams and take her audience with her.

Most recognized by her distinct soulful voice and refined piano chops, singer/songwriter Lele Rose returned to the stage in LA with the newest edition of her rock band, The Thorns. United by The Sunset Jam’s weekly show at The Viper Room in West Hollywood presented by Erik Himel, the band came together to create the final scene in Rose’s latest music video.

With a full house at The Mint LA last Thursday (October 19th), Lele Rose & The Thorns put on an electrifying show for the release of their Running Away Music Video filmed on a rooftop in downtown Los Angeles by Industrialism Films. THE THORNS includes creator Lele Rose on lead vocals, keyboard, guitar, Damon Cisneros – co-musical director on drums, Stonehand Andrew lead guitar, Megan Rask bass, Andre Ribeiro keyboards. Performing pop rock soul music live from her albums Bliss Kingdom, and Back 2 Life with a Bruno Mars cover, the band received an enormous positive response from the crowd. Sophia Radisch opened the night and Mike Bauer closed it out, KBH Entertainment presented a solid night.

Feel A Little Bit With Anna Dellaria’s Beautiful Single ‘Bolder’

Lindsey

Man…it’s been just a rough day. Spent this morning saying goodbye to a family dog who had reached the end of their journey here and sent them off onto their next adventure. However, it is in these moments of sadness where we can turn to music to find a little bit of light, or ones where we can cry to them a little bit more. This R&B/Pop anthem ‘Bolder’ by Anna Dellaria is no exception, and is in fact one that may have made me shed one last tear.

“It’s the moment you realize you have to end a relationship – whether family, friend, or romantic – you can’t ignore that it’s falling apart. It’s a brutally honest and vulnerable conversation. Maybe they’re bad for you, maybe the circumstances just don’t allow for it to continue, but there’s this sense that it shouldn’t or couldn’t keep going. Although there’s this inevitability, you still have a choice as to how it ends. If you know it’s going to be the last night spent together, how would you want to spend it?  Essentially: if we’re going down, we’re going out with a bang.  So often we look at our failures, or the closing of chapters, as these hugely negative things.  I fantasized about the idea that maybe we can acknowledge where we went wrong and how to grow from it, and celebrate the beauty in what was.”  – Anna

Her beautiful and powerful voice dances around the track as the listener becomes captivated in the message and the music that surrounds them. It brings me back to my days of watching my friends in their contemporary dances and revives the emotion that is so often found in those tracks. “Bolder” also aired in the finale scene of Hilary Duff’s “Younger” to 1.30 million viewers, and was met with an overwhelming response from listeners in search of the then unreleased song – igniting a full release and partnership with Shazam and TV Land.

Check out ‘Bolder’ below, and enjoy!
