Feel A Little Bit With Anna Dellaria’s Beautiful Single ‘Bolder’

Man…it’s been just a rough day. Spent this morning saying goodbye to a family dog who had reached the end of their journey here and sent them off onto their next adventure. However, it is in these moments of sadness where we can turn to music to find a little bit of light, or ones where we can cry to them a little bit more. This R&B/Pop anthem ‘Bolder’ by Anna Dellaria is no exception, and is in fact one that may have made me shed one last tear.

“It’s the moment you realize you have to end a relationship – whether family, friend, or romantic – you can’t ignore that it’s falling apart. It’s a brutally honest and vulnerable conversation. Maybe they’re bad for you, maybe the circumstances just don’t allow for it to continue, but there’s this sense that it shouldn’t or couldn’t keep going. Although there’s this inevitability, you still have a choice as to how it ends. If you know it’s going to be the last night spent together, how would you want to spend it?  Essentially: if we’re going down, we’re going out with a bang.  So often we look at our failures, or the closing of chapters, as these hugely negative things.  I fantasized about the idea that maybe we can acknowledge where we went wrong and how to grow from it, and celebrate the beauty in what was.”  – Anna

Her beautiful and powerful voice dances around the track as the listener becomes captivated in the message and the music that surrounds them. It brings me back to my days of watching my friends in their contemporary dances and revives the emotion that is so often found in those tracks. “Bolder” also aired in the finale scene of Hilary Duff’s “Younger” to 1.30 million viewers, and was met with an overwhelming response from listeners in search of the then unreleased song – igniting a full release and partnership with Shazam and TV Land.

The New Yorker describes her “with a voice like Gaga’s, she’s partial to yellow-and-black clothes and arena choruses.” Meet BINX, South Africa’s beautiful “African Bee” with a sting ready to swell up pop music. Now residing in New York, the singer/model has gathered a large fanbase thanks to her astonishing performances at major U.S. events like U.S. Open, The New York Marathon (two years in a row), and Webster Hall. “The African Bee,” Binx is now releasing a full album titled “Buzzed.” An upbeat, high-energy, and creative vibe that introduce Binx to the world.

Already receiving rave reviews from major publications. Binx speaks on the making of her new album with the following quote.

“2016 was the most difficult year of my life, it left me feeling “Buzzed.” The album is about falling in love, breaking up, sex, mourning death, drugs, politics, self exploration, dating in the digital age and friendship. The artwork is a depiction of me holding a bottle of alcohol (which includes my logo) and pouring it over myself revealing my alter ego, “The African Bee” in a more raw and emotional sense. “Jack Flash” is my most vulnerable song as it is about my Dad. The sound is an eclectic mix of Avant-Garde Dance Pop with many Glam Rock, RnB and African influences. 3% of sales from the new album, “Buzzed” are going towards saving The Bees with Environment New York. The album is dedicated to my Dad, Mom and Brother.”
