Mixtape Mondays Ft: Tyson Craft, Weslee, Fluencee X Shaylen, Element & Wet Paint X Post Malone

Welcome back to your Mixtape Mondays. I hope you guys had yourself a great weekend and are gearing up for December. I myself know that I am ready to have life slow down even just a little bit over the holidays, but don’t you worry we will have music for you through it all. So go ahead and press play and lets see what the tracks hold for us.

Wow, I can’t really think of a better song to slowly start to wake up to. Tyson Craft has figured out how to delicately blend soft piano/string melodies with the whimsical vocal that is delivered by Tiff Fung, to ensure that you don’t hit the off button on your alarm because you don’t want to stop the song. Then he begins to build it up with a solid kick that introduces you to the drop that will get even the most tired up and moving.

Ah the sun on my face, the wind in my hair..just kidding I haven’t left the house yet, lets not be hasty. However I might be ready to face the day after I get lost in Weslee’s mesmerizing new tune that swells with sweet arps and minimal percussion to have you floating through your morning routine. Except for it should be singing about having a girl like me..but you know whatever I’ll get them next time.

I think its about time we start picking this ish up so here we go with my boy Fluencee. Throwing this little gem on while you’re in the shower will 100% cause singing into shampoo bottles and potential slipping from dancing so be warned. Shaylen’s powerhouse voice blends perfectly into this tune with phase-y synths and punchy percussion which delivers a nice boost of energy to ensure your day goes well.

Leaving your house can be sad..you may even be a little angry that you’re now an adult that has to work and pay bills and doesn’t get food made for them near as much as they should or babied quite like they used to. So allow Element to play into all of those emotions and turn it into fuel for your day. With lots of atmospheric sounds I feel like I’m inside of a Halo video game and am avoiding being killed…as I scale down my stairs doing random spins and squats I bring myself back to reality with the drop that gets me motivated and quite frankly looking like an idiot jammin in public. But needless to say, I am now in my ‘Element’ and if you mess with me I will end you..ok thats the video games talking but yeah…check it out.

I LOVE POST MALONE! I really don’t think my all caps demonstrates my love enough..but yeah Austin hmu if you see this. So it was no surprise when I saw a remix by Wet Paint hit my inbox I couldn’t resist. Sometimes you worry about remixes because they can go wrong..but this ain’t the case here. Wet Paint turns ‘I Fall Apart’ into a banger that gets me in my feels but also gets me hyped. With interlaced piano and guitar with sweeping synths and a knocking snare this remix will be one to add to the arsenal. No doubt this gem is on repeat for my car ride as I pretend that I am dancing with Post Malone.

Michael Push’s Glossy Music Video For ‘Tell Me Why’ Perfect For Nearing Spring

Michael Push’s song ‘Tell Me Why’ featuring Stevie imparts a vibe of tranquil vacation. The song shouts summer, and more specifically, summer love. With airy vocals by Stevie, longing lyrics, and a fun, groovy beat that one can’t help but to dance to, or at least tap their toes to, the song is an anthem to longboards everywhere! The tropical drums make for a very sunkissed feeling when listening, and the whole thing is uplifting. The lovelorn lyrics of Stevie contrast highly with the light feel of the instrumentals. It’s a quintessential summer jam to play at any party, or get-together, that will put everyone in a carefree, extroverted mood.
