One won’t typically find electronic music bass heads and die hard metal fans in agreement over music, but that is about to change. Enter ‘Welcome To The Fire,’ the new track from duo SLANDER and multi-instrumentalist Sullivan King on Disciple Records, which melds the angst of heavy metal with the aggression of bass-focused electronic music. ‘Welcome To The Fire’ creates a supercharged environment from its opening notes, incorporating screaming vocals, mechanical synths and earth-shattering drops.

Blaxtork Drops Jungle-Jersey Bass Single ‘Tropic’

Tune Collective Staff

Published

Jersey bass and jungle terror are at a crossroads thanks to Blaxtork’s new single ‘Tropic.’ The song falls somewhere between what you would hear on a Mad Decent release and a Rawtek sound, falling into a unique new space and captured by strong song arrangement. Blaxtork’s hyper-detailed single doesn’t spare a moment, a feet shuffling groove present from start to finish. Blaxtork has a plenty of music plans for 2018, ‘Tropic’ acting as a teaser for what is to come.

Disco Fries styles a hefty balance of familiarity and surprise with DF, the new EP contains 4 singles already released alongside 4 brand-new tracks. With the album art and refreshed sound, Disco Fries maintain their rooted-happy-go-lucky and uplifting feel but boast a modern update that fits comfortably with the times. Disco Fries has been a long-standing act in dance music and continues to stay plugged in. Here’s a recent quote that gives a glimpse into their perspective.

‘Over the past two years we’ve been working on a ton of music that we haven’t released. We’d jump styles, genres, and sound sets every couple of months and after a while we finally decided that it was the best reflection of who we are. We’re not one-dimensional artists so there was no reason to release an album of stuff that all sounded similar. DF encompasses everything that influences us and makes us creatively tick as the Disco Fries.’
