There are few songs that strike with absolute purity like Le Youth’s ‘I Could Always (feat. MNDR).’ The blend of super-chilled instrumentals layered with a heavy echo/delay effect forms the ultimate cloudy / modern single experience that rivals the likes of MGMT. With millions of streams under his belt, Le Youth seems to always be moving toward unique, unfiltered musical gems. Hopefully 2018 will result in more goodness like this.

Amsterdam based Thom Bold started gaining traction last year with his remix of MJ’s ‘Rock With You’ and ‘This Is A Beautiful Day’ which saw support from Martin Garrix, Sam Feldt, and more. Along with this he can be seen in the Chicago Social Club and Club Rex displaying his housesound and eclectic vision.

Now Thom Bold pairs up with impeccable Rama Duke to release ‘Please Don’t Wake Me’, which is an upbeat punch of soul that will get even the most tired dancing. Rama Duke infuses the track with her unique style which she calls ‘grunge soul’ and describes herself as ‘Loud, passionate and unapologetic’. The combination of the two leave the listener energized and ready to handle whatever task is at hand.

“The first time I worked with Rama some years ago, I was struck by her raw, limitless passion. She puts so much of herself into every note, word and phrase; with incredible respect—and awareness of—the context of the music and the arrangement. She also understands how to universally appeal to the audience.” – 1520 Entertainment, founder and CEO Jared Lee Gosselin
