Monday’s come and they go but the music will always be there for you. If you woke up needing a little inspiration or a little motivation, we are here to supply you with that. So sit back, relax, and lets discover some new stuff together.

My love for Lauv is no secret, so anytime I see a remix you know i’m clicking on it. And boy am I happy I did. inverness recreates ‘Paris In Rain’ to be a bouncy uplifting anthem swirling with plucks, chimes, and perfectly executed vocal chops that turn a song I liked into a song I love. Listening to this one to start your day will be the Monday pick me up you’ve been looking for.

Finding someone early in their game is always fun, so when I found this little gem I was shocked to see that it’s the debut track from the artist Very Yes. This track feels like something Odesza would create but has a totally new soul to it, with hip hop percussion, whimsical vocal samples, and synths that make you wonder who the f*$# is Very Yes? Pair this with your coffee to get that headspace you need for the day and to organize all the things you want to get done.

Guys more new artists (at least to me) this week! Next on the list is tofu, which to me is like Adventure Club, Illenium, and San Holo had a baby, where you get all the feels, larger than life synths and immaculate vocals. With his ‘Alone’ remix you will be recharged and amped for the day. With drops so fat and production so good, you’ll probably be stocking his Soundcould instead of working…so you’re welcome.

I need to feel a bit more swag this morning so who better than Yung Bae with his Kendrick Lamar remix of ‘DNA’? You think you like the original? Well Yung bae gives the track an old school sound but adds in that soul with horn riffs and trap percussion that get me groovin and feelin myself all at the same time. Playing this while getting ready will boost confidence and dance moves by 50% (we can’t totally fix your dad dance moves sorry).

Im on one now so you know I gotta continue the momentum. Memba and Asher Don pair up for ‘Middle Man’ to create a simplistic Hip-hip infused electronic track that is so unique and catchy that your commute will be easier than ever with this on repeat. Brassy synths compliment Asher as we follow him through the vocal which lays atop the intricate production like theres no place it would rather be.

Im adding one more bonus track to the series today, giving you a G-House track by Where it’s ATT, if you really feel like you need to turn up today. Changing the words to Mid-day and blasting it on your headphones at work might just be the remedy you needed to get those last couple hours of work done! So turn up and let the bass take you away.

Tune in next week for another Monday Mixtape, and remember to make someone smile today 🙂

Michael Push’s Glossy Music Video For ‘Tell Me Why’ Perfect For Nearing Spring

Michael Push’s song ‘Tell Me Why’ featuring Stevie imparts a vibe of tranquil vacation. The song shouts summer, and more specifically, summer love. With airy vocals by Stevie, longing lyrics, and a fun, groovy beat that one can’t help but to dance to, or at least tap their toes to, the song is an anthem to longboards everywhere! The tropical drums make for a very sunkissed feeling when listening, and the whole thing is uplifting. The lovelorn lyrics of Stevie contrast highly with the light feel of the instrumentals. It’s a quintessential summer jam to play at any party, or get-together, that will put everyone in a carefree, extroverted mood.
