Premiere: Tim Gunter Kills His Remix Of The Chainsmokers’ ‘Sick Boy’

Good morning everyone, if you started your Tuesday feeling a little uninspired or lacking energy we might just have a tune for you from the one and only Tim Gunter. For those of you unfamiliar with the producer let me lay it down for you. Tim originally got into producing under the wing of 9th Wonder at the age of 19 and from there learned how to play the drums and piano by ear. This would ultimately lead him into electronic music where he would crush release after release whether it was remixes of things like Drake’s ‘Trophies’ or originals like ‘First Breath’.

Now Tim Gunter shares with us his Chainsmokers’ – Sick Boy Remix and we couldn’t be happier to premiere it. Tim manages to keep the integrity of the original white creating his own version full of old school breakbeat percussion, dreamy arpeggiating synths, and with crunchy and gritty yet groovy drops that ensure that this ’Sick Boy’ Remix tops all the others.

“This song was a fun one because it’s a bit unconventional and a more emotional pop song. This opened up a lot of possibilities but like with any remix I always want the integrity of the song to be in tact. I used organic elements like strings, horns, and live drums to keep the emotion with heavy synths on the drop to make it bang.” – Tim

Michael Push’s Glossy Music Video For ‘Tell Me Why’ Perfect For Nearing Spring

Michael Push’s song ‘Tell Me Why’ featuring Stevie imparts a vibe of tranquil vacation. The song shouts summer, and more specifically, summer love. With airy vocals by Stevie, longing lyrics, and a fun, groovy beat that one can’t help but to dance to, or at least tap their toes to, the song is an anthem to longboards everywhere! The tropical drums make for a very sunkissed feeling when listening, and the whole thing is uplifting. The lovelorn lyrics of Stevie contrast highly with the light feel of the instrumentals. It’s a quintessential summer jam to play at any party, or get-together, that will put everyone in a carefree, extroverted mood.
